I am depressed over failure in love and career

Asked by Male, 28, Single
I don't feel included in the society. No one likes me. I will be 28 years in 40 days from now and have been extremely unsuccessful at love and career. I am constantly rejected by girls one after another. I don't drink, smoke and have no bad habits, I don't even know what is wrong with me. I cry alone in my room on new year and valentine's day. It's like no one even acknowledges my existence and that I am a human being and I too need someone in my life. I feel like killing myself.

Dear Writer, thank you for writing to us. It takes courage to reach out and ask for help. What you are feeling and experiencing sounds like depression. How long have you been feeling like this?
While it's important to feel validated and valued by others, you feel unnoticed so much so you are not even able to validate yourself. That's a lot of pain to bear and you feel alone with it. You are absolutely right in wanting someone in your life you can share your joys and sorrow with. It helps make the ride a lot less bumpy during difficult times. Right now your self worth and self- esteem have taken a complete nosedive.
I would like to understand you better, so could you tell me more about yourself as an individual?
What went wrong professionally and personally?
Please message back to continue discussing. You have a lot of strength left in you. I am here for you. Regards.
