In relationship with someone for 4 years, but recently had sex with another man. Feeling guilty

Asked by Female, 24, Single
I am in a relationship for four years now. From past one year, he has been working at a place away from me. Since he is usually busy he doesn't give enough time to me I have now used to it. He does come to meet me whenever he is free, meanwhile, I met a person approximately 8 months ago and we became good friends. Few days back I had sex with him, I didn't want to have it but couldn't stop him and this happened. Don't know what to do now?

Thanks for reaching out to the askmile team with your concners. We are here to help you. Thank you for trusting us with your serious issues in life. It appears that you are emotionally and relationally unsettled and your four year old relationship appears to be not grounded. Three years he was close to you but the last one year he was away for work. The physical distance (and lack of emotional and sexual intimacy) papear to push you to find sexual happioness in the other man who was your best friend. You did not want to do it, but he had his way which is not at all convincing. You wanted to do it and you were available for him. Now you need to seriously think what you want in life and which relationship going to make you happy. Once, in a while at this age, it happens.
