Suicidal thoughts due to inability to prepare for exams

Asked by Male, 19, Single
I am failing in my life. I am student of a reputed engineering college in mumbai. I think i am going to fail in my semester exams. I am really having a tough time. Our admissions were delayed. We didnt even had enough time to study. Bt my friends, who also joined with me are all confident about passing out exams. Due to this stress I have suicidal thoughts. I cannot discuss with my parents. Please guide me. I am very depressed. I was topper in my previous college, but in new college I feel very low. I think I am not worth this college. Where should I take my life now?

Hi,As i read your passage, i can feel pressure you must be having due to exams and thoughts you are having due to pressure, having high aspirations and expecations from your own self is great quality since purpose of it is only to help us in our life and discover our own potention to fullest, however if its not serving its purpose and making us think negative about our ownself and life, whats the point of having it??These things are smaller units of life and not bigger then life itself, failing is completely fine, because you still will have second chancewe are not suicide prevention helpline or medical service provider, If you are being suicidal, we would suggest you immediately call up a suicide prevention helpline - eg  Vandrevala Foundation Helpline - 1 860 266 2345 (24x7),   Aasra - +91 22 2754 6669 (24x7).Hope this helpsFor further queries please write back to us
