Hi, letting go can he hard, especially when it comes to letting go of people more than things. There are many reasons why it can be hard and only by understanding this "why" will you be able to do so. It is my understanding that letting go becomes harder because we fear change. We may fear that letting go may be the loss of a secure future (or our present vision of the future) or the loss of the good memories you have with that person. Sometimes even though we realise that our judgement of the person was wrong, we still stick to them because we do not want to hurt our egos, we don't want to admit that we made a mistake as it threatens our sense of self. Once we understand what is really stopping us from letting go, can we work toward moving on. We need to let go of our fears and analyse the issue objectively and while it may seem to be overwhelming and scary at first, showing courage to embrace the change and showing the willingness to move on is important to live a whole and complete life. Remember that while you are going through the process of letting go, it is best to find time to relax and indulge in some light-hearted activities with friends and family. This will make the process easier to go through.  I hope this helps, If you feel like you need to talk about this issue more, in a secure environment. feel free to send me a private message. :) thanks.
